Petronas Twin Towers
in Malaysia (Asia)

Petronas Twin Towers are located in Kuala Lumpur and between 1998 and 2004 these towers were the tallest building in the world. In 2004 they were surpassed by Taipei 101 skyscraper.

Both towers have 88 floors with the top floor 375 meters above ground level. The antenna reaches the height of 452 meters.

The main Petronas Twin Towers attraction is a 2-story skybridge that serves as an excellent viewpoint over the Kuala Lumpur city. The bridge connects the 41st and 42nd floor of both towers.

In the visitors center there are many interesting exhibits such as:

  • How tall is - an exhibit where visitors can compare their height with many famous world buildings.
  • Tesla coil - an exhibit that demonstrates how the towers are protected against lightnings.
  • Vibration deck - an exhibit allowing visitors to experience the swaying on the top floor of the Petronas Twin Towers (the top floor itself is not accessible to general public).
