The building of Hiroshima Peace Memorial (known as A-Bomb Dome as well) is a memorial to the people died during atomic bombing of Hiroshima. It is the only structure left standing after the explosion of atomic bomb on 6 August 1945.
The present state of the dome is the same as it was immedeatly after the explosion.
Since 1996 the Hiroshima Peace Memorial is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
